Anseye Pou Ayiti ("Teach For Haiti" in Haitian Creole) will raise education outcomes in disadvantaged areas of Haiti by recruiting and training outstanding teachers for existing schools. Transformational teaching and leadership will equip all children with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to achieve their full potential with equal opportunity, pursue lives of mutual prosperity, and contribute to a more enlightened 21st century world.

LIR is a food pantry serving Loudoun County residents. We supply perishable and non-perishable food items directly to our clients. This past year, LIR served more than 15,000 individuals and distributed over 1.3 million pounds of food. We serve approximately 500 families a week and almost half of those served are children.

The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank is to feed those who suffer from hunger in the Washington metro area by acquiring food and distributing it through its network of partner agencies; and educating, empowering and enlightening the community about the issues of hunger and nutrition. CAFB is a member of Feeding America, a national network of 200 food banks.

Approximately 100 elephant and 5 rhino are slaughtered every day in Africa for their ivory and horn, respectively. We fight the elephant and rhino poaching crisis by researching and raising money to fund drone and ground surveillance technology for vetted game parks in Africa. We also focus on education in the United States because approximately 30% of recently poached ivory is sold in the US.
