Pibbles & More Animal Rescue was started with the belief that no animal should die unwanted. After seeing the abundance of Pit bulls in shelters we decided to try to do something about it. We pull dogs from death row in the NYACC shelters as well as from several gassing shelters. We all have the hope that one day we will be a no kill nation. Until then, we rescue as many dogs as we can, get them medical treatment and put them into foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Catmandu
Catmandu is an alternative-style shelter for homeless cats/kittens needing new forever homes. Our cage-free, group-home setting provides adoptable cats with a low-stress environment that transitions them from old home to new with minimal trauma and distress. Strays and fraidy-cats with trust issues are given the time and TLC they need to go from scaredy-cats to adoptable housecats. Feral-born kittens are tamed, receive medical care, are spayed/neutered, then placed in loving forever homes.

Dogs are Deserving Rescue
Our goal is to rescue and place our dogs in loving homes. We are an all breed rescue with an emphasis on saving the most misunderstood breed; the Pit Bull. We are a foster based rescue who helps to heal the scars inside and out of abused, abandoned, and neglected dogs. In addition, we strive to make sure our dogs serve as ambassadors for the breed changing misconceptions in the minds of the uneducated. We also be focusing on helping to ban BSL laws.

Our Love & Cuddles Pet Respite Care program provides short-term foster care for pets when senior owners are hospitalized. Animal Aid clinic and adoptions
Animal Aid was founded in 1998. We take in cats and dogs on their last day from County shelters. We provide the necessary care at our clinic and find them forever homes when they are well enough through our adoption center. We focus on neglect, injured and cruelty cases. We have a free/low cost spay clinic, a cat sanctuary for stray cats and a thrift store that helps to support our work. We are able to take in an average of 120 cats and dogs each month that would otherwise be put to death.

Since 2009, The Cat's Meow has endeavored to reduce euthanasia as a means of population control for Southwest Washington cats through an intense spay/neuter program, adoption and education. We average 1,000 low-cost spays/neuters each year and expect to increase these numbers in the year 2018. Our ultimate goal is to open and operate a low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Lewis County, Washington to be able to serve even more people and cats.

Beak n Wings
We are located in Kansas City and have been helping parrots throughout the Kansas City area. We are the only licensed shelter exclusively for companion birds (mostly parrots) in the KC area. Our goal is to take in homeless, unwanted, or abused parrots, "rehabilitate" them, and find them good, permanent, loving homes. Operation Warm & Cozy(OWC) is a No-Kill shelter facility for homeless dogs. We rescue/rehabilitate/re-home an average of 80 dogs per year. We also offer a low cost spay neuter program year round for both cats and dogs. Free straw and doghouses are available fordonations outdoor pets in our community. Our staff is made up of 100% volunteers. There are no paid employees aside from veterinarians. All donations are aimed at saving animals in need.

We take in the death row dogs whose time is up in kill shelters and work to get them spayed/neutered housebroken and socialed. Idyllwild Animal Rescue Friends is the only resource for homeless dogs and cats in Idyllwild and its surrounding mountain communities. ARF's mission is to care for and re-home dogs and cats that are homeless due to abandonment or surrender. ARF's dogs stay with foster families, and its cats enjoy a comfortable cattery at the ARF House until they are adopted into forever families. All dogs and cats receive necessary veterinary care, including spay and neuter.

It's Meow or Never Animal Rescue
It's Meow or Never Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization and we have been open since 2003. We believe that animal rescue is not a hobby, but a responsibility not to be taken lightly. We have dedicated much of r spare time caring for homeless cats and dogs, funding their food and medical care out of pocket most times. Through vital donations to It's Meow or Never Animal Rescue, Madonna and her team of dedicated volunteers are able to care for more animals.

The foundation of our program is education. We average 20-25 canines at any given time and 90% of our rescue population is comprised of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Cause for SB Paws is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization comprised of San Bernardino area residents who care deeply about our animal care and control issues. We take in dogs from the streets, shelters, and owner surrenders in the San Bernardino area. As you can imagine, many of our rescued dogs have been through a lot: abuse, neglect, never living inside a home or knowing the love of humans, etc. All of our dogs live in our foster homes until adopted.

Choctaw County Animal Shelter
We are a small private, donation-funded, volunteer-run animal shelter. We operate in an area where there are no other shelters and there is a great need to help the many homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. We provide a safe home with food, shelter and medical care for about 60 animals until they find a new home. We need funds for general housing and medical expenses, including spaying and neutering and heartworm treatments.

Older and over weight cats are almost always deemed unadoptable at county shelters and are killed without even being given the chance at adoption. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that gives at-risk cats & kittens from the shelter environment a new beginning at life. We rescue cats and kittens that are at high risk of euthanasia. Some of our rescues come from shelters that still use gas chambers as their way of declining the over population.
