Without the Foundation’s assistance, many of the students would not have access to the educational support they need to achieve their full potential.

Don't Stop the Music is a star-studded event that will provide students what they need for a fully formed music education: enthusiasm, experiences and equipment. This multi-media event (a television documentary, a star-studded concert and a expansive digital campaign) will be the driving force that will help us collect, refurbish and distribute 50,000 instruments. The program, BASIC, combines reading related to sports, math related to sports and sport-skill instruction to create a joyous atmosphere for learning.

Escuela Caracol is an intercultural Waldorf school that was founded in 2007 in San Marcos La Laguna, a Kaqchikel community on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. In a country still recovering from a 36 yearlong civil war that ended less than two decades ago, there is a great need for our healing and comprehensive educational community.
